Ukrainian Forces Begins Large-Scale Manufacturing of New Defensive Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

Ukraine has announced the start of large-scale manufacturing for an innovative domestically developed interceptor drone to enhance its aerial protection systems. The first three producers have started manufacturing, with 11 more preparing to set up production lines, the defence ministry announced this past Friday.

Advanced 'Octopus' System Proven in Battlefield Situations

These UAVs utilize a domestically developed system called “Octopus” engineered to intercept Shahed drones. The system has been tested in actual battle and demonstrated effective “during nighttime, under jamming and at low altitudes,” officials stated.
