The Reform UK leader Accuses Teachers of ‘Indoctrinating Children’ on Race Issues

The political figure stated that teachers would go on strike shortly after a success at the polls for his party, charging that they are “poisoning our kids” by instructing students that black pupils are victims and white children oppressors.

At a gathering for a Michigan-based religious institution, Farage outlined his viewpoint on the UK education system, stating that the “radical left-wing” had “taken over schooling”.

“I’m anticipating a walkout by educators very quickly after securing a victory,” Farage commented in response to questions.

“They are corrupting young minds. They are telling them to feel guilt about their nation. They inform little Johnny, who’s eight, who is black that he is a victim and a white child of the same age that he is a perpetrator. They are dividing us, instead of fostering unity. They are feeding this negative culture.”

Reacting to these assertions, Daniel Kebede dismissed the notion that the schools were under Marxist influence as “absurd”. He pointed out that any strikes must relate to teachers’ terms and conditions, and questioned whether the party would target these immediately upon entering government.

“Farage has built his political career on coded rhetoric and now, like Trump, he is targeting educators and their organizations for a conflict,” the union leader said.

“This is highly reckless. Neither I nor our union – advocate such divisive theories as he claims … If he were to lead the government he would undermine state services, including education … and the outcome would be catastrophic for education and children.”

The party, which is leading the polls by about 10 points, has not set out much detail on a proposed education policy and seems not to have designated an education lead.

Nonetheless, his comments suggested the group would reform the educational framework. He said: “We have got a massive job with education – absolutely herculean. Moreover, we can’t do it in six months or a year; it requires years, years to turn this around.”

Farage expressed that younger generations are receptive to analytical thought, but millennials were “absolutely hopeless”.

Honoring Charlie Kirk, Farage said: “All I want education to do to foster independent thought – to instruct people that there are two points of view and you make up your own mind as opposed to what’s happening now where views are labeled good or bad. It’s a massive job in both Britain and America.”

Reform has previously clashed with a major educators’ organization, after the union leader labeled them “extremist and prejudiced” and dismissed Farage as “a poundshop Donald Trump”.

The politician has charged Kebede of being “a self-declared Marxist” … an individual intent that young minds be corrupted at school, their minds should be poisoned regarding national issues” and has argued that the organization seeks to brainwash teenagers against Reform.

Roughly a million individuals are employed in education in the UK, about half of whom are teachers and the remainder being assistants and administrative personnel. The leading teachers’ organization has about 450,000 members.

National strikes over teacher pay and conditions in recent years led to significant interruptions in educational institutions and extensive missed instruction for students.

During the American gathering, Farage also pledged to help spread the online educational material of the institution in the UK. He stated organizations like it were “part of the fightback”, adding that: “I am serious. I will help garner hundreds of thousands, if not millions of youth to these educational programs. I make that commitment tonight and I’ll do that.”

The institution, a religious educational establishment, provides complimentary classes. According to its online description: “Comprehensive learning is necessary for personal happiness and to perpetuate the blessings of civil and religious liberty. It offers these beautiful courses for free to every interested learner.”
